Terms of Service

Last updated November 1, 2026

Draft. This policy has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.

By using Spamtrace you agree to these terms.

What Spamtrace does

We help you find where a spam email came from and send a report to the companies responsible. We cannot promise that any company will act, or that the spam will stop.

Your account

You must be at least 18, or have a parent's permission. Keep access to your email account safe, because that is how you sign in.

Using it honestly

Only report email you actually received and did not ask for. Follow our Reporting Policy. We may limit or suspend accounts that send false reports or misuse the service.

Credits and payment

You can see where an email came from before you pay. One credit sends one report, however many companies receive a copy. Credits you buy never expire. Prices are in US dollars. See our Refund Policy.

Sensitive information

Spamtrace is for spam, and it is not a medical or financial records service. Please do not submit emails that contain patient records or other people's private information.

Accuracy

We work from the email you give us. Tracing can be wrong, especially if an email was forwarded or changed. You review and approve every report before it is sent, and you are responsible for that decision.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms and will post the new date here. You may stop using the service at any time. We may end accounts that break these terms.

Governing law

The governing law will be stated here before launch.
